괜찮아요? 웬 여름 감기에요.

괜찮아요. 무대 위에서 뛰다 보면 땀도 나고 덥잖아요. 땀을 에어컨 앞에서 바로 말리고 하다 보니 그런 가봐요. 어렸을 때부터 몸이 좀 약했어요. 이 직업에 딱 맞는 몸은 아닌데, 건강하게 하려고 운동도 하고 그래요.
I'm okay. If you skip around on stage you sweat and you get hot. If you sit in front of the A/C, all your sweat dries up, and since I already tried this, it looks like it works. Ever since I was little, my body was kind of weak. I don't have the perfect body for this career, but I exercise in order to get healthy.

승현씨는 제일 마지막으로 팀에 합류해서 적응해야 할 것도 많죠?
Since Seunghyun-sshi was the last member to join, you must have a lot to adjust to, right?
웬만한 적응은 다 했고, 이제는 좀 더 잘하고 싶어요.
I adapted to all the ones I could so far, now I just want to be better.

워낙 사차원이라는 소문이 들리던데.
I heard a certain rumor constantly these days.
제 가 좀 ‘허당’같은 모습이 있어요. 근데 정신을 차리려고 하다 보니까 그런 모습이 조금씩 사라지는 것 같아요. 말수도 좀 줄었는데, 여전히 멤버 중에서는 제가 말이 제일 많아요. 줄일 말은 줄이고, 생각해서 말해야 하는 것도 있는데 사실 우리보다 솔직한 아이돌은 없는 것 같아요. 방송할 때도 그렇고, 라디오 같은 거 할 때도 그렇고. 예전에 어느 디제이 분이 놀라면서 너무 좋아하시는 거에요. 우린 그냥 솔직했을 뿐인데.
I kind of have a 'Hudang' appearance. (?) However, as I try to lighten my mind, my appearance is slowly disappearing. I also stopped talking too much, but I'm still the most talkative person out of all the members. I reduce my words, and I think before I speak but truthfully I think there is no one that speaks more honestly than us. Even when we're on programs we're like that, on radio broadcasts we're like that too. I liked it a lot when we played around with a certain DJ in the past. We're just a group of honest people.


요즘, 즐거워요?
Lately, are you happy?
피곤하고 힘들기는 한데, 그런 건 지나가면 기억에 남잖아요. 그리고 일단 할 일이 주어지면 하느라 너무 바빠서 정신 없어요.
Even though I'm tired and it's hard, after a while these feelings are forgotten and go away. Also, if we're given more than two tasks to do, we get so busy that I stress out.

혼자 놀 때는 뭐해요?
When you play by yourself, what do you do?
야동 봐요(웃음). 농담이고, 컴퓨터 게임하거나 피씨방도 가고, 밖에서 뛰기도 하고, 민환군이랑 공놀이 할 때도 있고. 근데 그렇게 개인 시간이 많은 편이 아니라.
I watch porn (laugh). That's just a joke, I play computer games, go to PC Bang, I go run outside, and sometimes I play ball with Minhwan. However, we rarely get such private time like this.


일을 해도 개인 생활에서 포기할 수 있는 부분과 포기할 수 없는 부분이 있잖아요.
Even as you work, in your private life there are things you can and can't throw away.
잠 자는 시간은 포기할 수가 없어요.

마지막으로 더 이상 잘 수 없을 때까지 자 본 날이 언제에요.

이개월 정도 됐어요. 원래는 한번 자면 거의 기절할 정도로 자는데, 요즘은 멤버들 중에서 가장 먼저 일어나요. 제가 먼저 씻고 다른 멤버들을 깨워요.
It's been about two months. Naturally, right when I fall asleep, I sleep like I'm unconscious - these days out of all the members, I'm always the first one to get up. I wash up first and then wake up the other members.

함께 생활하다 보면 씻게 되는 순번 같은 게 생기잖아요. 누가 제일 늦게 일어나고, 누가 제일 늦게 씻어요?
As you live your lives together, there's a certain routine that forms. Who wakes up the latest, and who washes up last?
홍기 형이 제일 늦게까지 자고 마지막으로 씻어요(메이크업을 받던 홍기가 빗을 가지고 와서 어깨를 때린다).
Hongki hyung is the one that sleeps in the latest and washes up last (Hongki who spotted the makeup kit picked up the brush and came over to Seunghyun and hit him on the shoulder).

잠 말고 또 포기할 수 없는 부분이 있어요? 뭐, 연애라든가.

지금은 여자 친구가 없는데, 사랑하는 사람이 생기면 몰래 몰래 다 만나지 않을까요.
Right now we don't have girlfriends, but if a person we love appears, secretly secretly we would all meet her, am I not right.

학교 다닐 때 인기 많았어요?
When you go to school, do you have lots of popularity?
네. 좀 있었죠. (홍기) 승현아, 너 인기 없었잖아. 지금 형의 인기와 비교하냐. 난 양영의 3대 얼짱이었다니까. (승현) 겨우 양영? 저는 대전의 숨어있는 꽃이었어요.

숨어있는 꽃이었다가, 갑자기 무조건적인 사랑을 한꺼번에 받는 거잖아요. 그건 어떤 기분이에요?
You were a flower that was hidden, and all of a sudden you start receiving unconditional love all at once. How did that feel?
근 데 무조건적인 사랑은 아닌 것 같아요. 그냥 사랑을 받는 건 없다고 생각해요. 아무리 제가 카세료처럼 잘생겼다고 해도 그냥 사랑해 주지는 않죠. 다들 날카로운 시선으로 지켜 보고 있을 거에요. 자기가 노력한 만큼 사랑을 받는 거겠죠.
However I don't think it's unconditional love. I just think of it like I'm not receiving any love. At the most, like a Kaseryo (?) I get told that I'm good-looking, but that doesn't mean they simply love me. I will watch over all of you with my sight. Just like how much effort you used, I would do the same for accepting this love.

제가 말을 잘못 했네요. 이렇게 감기에 걸렸는데도 새벽까지 화보 찍는데, 그냥 사랑 받는 건 아니죠. (콜록 콜록)
