Idol group FT Island confessed their disappointment with the title that falsely accuse them as ‘hand sync group.’

After their passionate stage, FT Island had humorous talk session with MC Yoo Hwee Yeol. First, Yoo Hwee Yeol said “FT Island was like boys but now they are men.”

Formed with 18-20 year olds, FT Island said “we teamed up about 6 years ago. When our youngest Choi Min Hwan was in 6th grade” and surprised everyone. To the question “What kind of music did you want to do in 6th grade?” Choi Min Hwan answered “I really didn’t think about it” and confessed how he got to start learning drums.

And to the question that asked about “how people think that FT Island stand on stage with music already on,” vocalist Lee Hongki confessed “People think ‘Because they are young, they don’t play but hand sync.’ and that really makes us upset. Members who play instruments felt more hurt than me.”

Also, drummer Choi Min Hwan said “I started learning drums in 6th grade and as you know, we can’t really dance. All we did was practice our instruments since trainee days. When we go on television shows, they ask us to do stuff like personal talents and dance that makes us feel embarrassed. It’s so upsetting that we can’t play our instruments to our fans.
