FT Island ‘Cross and Change’ track plagiarism or inspiration?

They just had their their successful comeback stage on SBS Inkigayo yesterday performing the title song ‘I Hope’ and ‘Marry Me’, but there are already saying that FT Island’s track ‘Angel and Woodman’ sounds way too similar to singer Jason Mraz’s ‘Live High’.

Some are saying that the 2 songs’ acoustic guitar portion sounds the same.

Truthfully saying, there are the similarities, but it didn’t change how I look at the boys’ comeback. It’s often the ‘reuse and recycle’ concept in the music industry, inspire and be inspired.

The ‘The Angel and Woodman’ in addition is my favourite track off the album.
